I have been an artist for as far back as I can remember. I am self taught with no formal training whatsoever. I rarely analyze my work and I feel no need explain any of it at all. A work of art will either speak to you or not... I have never had an interest in giving long winded explanations for my work, whether it’s to convince anyone that it has some sort of deep meaning or to try desperately to sound intelligent. When you over analyze and give it too much structure and meaning, you take away everything that art is intended for.
